Oxfordshire Artweeks 2018
East Oxford is a vibrant patch of artistry and you can see it all for yourself in the annual Oxfordshire Artweeks festival, which was established in 1981 and is the country’s oldest and biggest open-studio event.
Between May 12-20, artists in Oxford are opening their studios and creating pop-up exhibitions of the work – and it’s all free to view. It’s not just painting, there is also jewellery, ceramics, photography, textiles, printmaking… the list goes on. You can download the guide via this link: https://www.artweeks.org/festival/guide
JCP is delighted to support Oxfordshire Artweeks, which is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes the work of artists across Oxfordshire. It offers a rare opportunity to meet artists in their studios and discuss their work. Many of these studios will have a JCP ‘artist in residence’ board outside to help you easily locate where you want to go!
And of course you might just come home with an artwork of your own…
